Formats
Roll and sheet labels for retail food packaging. Trays, tubs, jars, bags, and cases. Printed to spec and die-cut to your shape.
Storage is part of the spec
Ambient, refrigerated, and frozen are three different jobs. The face stock and the adhesive change with each of them, and so does what happens to a label three months in.
Tell PPO where the product is stored and what the label is applied to. The stock gets confirmed against those conditions before the quote goes out.
The panel has to be readable off press
A food label carries small type, a barcode, and information a buyer is required to be able to read. That is where food artwork goes wrong, and it goes wrong at prepress rather than on press.
Your files are checked before the job reaches the press, and the proof comes back to you for approval within 24 hours. Nothing runs on an assumption about your artwork.
Substrates
Films, papers, and thermal stocks. The full list is in the substrates section on the homepage. Name the stock your program already runs and PPO will confirm it before quoting.
Matched across formats
A food brand rarely buys one thing. The label on the tub and the film on the lid often carry the same artwork, and both print here against the same approved proof, so they match each other rather than two suppliers’ interpretations.
Who it’s for
Food and snack brands, nutraceutical brands, and contract packagers running retail food programs.
Dates and minimum
Proof back within 24 hours. Production three weeks from approval. $1,000 minimum, as an order value rather than a piece count.
What to send for a quote
The product and how it is stored, what the label goes on, the finished size, the quantity, and your date. Pricing and a firm timeline come back within one business day.
